The centre employs 12 professionals (community staff only) of which 5 nurses, 2 psychiatrists, 1 social worker, 4 administrators, 0.5 manager and 3 others.

Treatment philosophy is based upon harm reduction. The average dose of methadone prescribed is 50 mg.
Currently the centre treats 61 patients per qualified nurse, which is the maximum capacity.
The waiting list is about 3 months.

- urine checks

Non-attendance and violence can get patients expelled from treatment.
 
When visiting the centre should be informed beforehand by a letter.
This letter should mention:
- identity
- treatment history
- dose and period for which the provision of methadone is requested
- references where information can be checked

There are no costs involved and there is no maximum duration of treatment.

There are official forms for customs, police etc. to make sure the patient will not encounter legal prblems in case of a different policy on methadone in the country to be visited. Contact the home office for more information.

For patients staying on a permanent basis there are no different procedures.

The centre employs 19 professionals of which 2 doctors, 1 psychiatrist, 7 nurses and 4 nurse assistants, 4 administrators and 1 clinical nurse specialist.
Treatment philosophy is based upon harm reduction offering detoxification and maintenance programmes. The average dose of methadone prescribed is 40 mg.
Currently the centre treats 60 patients per qualified nurse, which should be 30.
The waiting list is up to ¾ weeks.

- psychiatric care
- other medication
- other services
 
The centre demands:
- weekly or fortnightly attendance
- urine/blood checks
 
Non-attendance, selling prescribed drugs or forging prescriptions and violence can get patients expelled from treatment.
 
The centre does not have the possibility to provide methadone to patients who receive methadone in another city/region and who are visiting their region for a short period of time.
