patient works out a contract with a drug advisor. Together they look for a General
Practitioner who has to provide the methadone. The three of them sign the contract and
send it to the Kantonsarzt who has to approve the treatment.
- GPs and the Sozialpsychiatrischer
Dienst are the instances that are allowed to dispense methadone. The Sozialpsychiatrischer
Dienst has drug advisory service as well.
