The centre employs 3/5 doctors, 2/5 psychiatrists, 2/5 administrators, 2/5 managers, 1/5 psychologists and 1 nurse. The centre treats 200 patients wich is the maximum capacity.
Treatment philosophy of this centre is based upon harm reduction offering detoxification and maintenance programmes. The average dose of methadone prescribed is 70 mg. There is no waiting list and no maximum duration of treatment.

The centre demands:
- daily attendance
- urine checks
- mandatory meetings with social work
 
Non-attendance or violence can get patient expelled from treatment.
Procedures for taking patient for a SHORT period of TIME:
The centre should be informed beforehand by fax, phone or letter.
 
The information necessary is:
- identity
- dose and period for which methadone is requested
 
When visiting the patient does not have to bring a letter from his doctor.
There are no costs involved
 
Additional information: The centre has links with other centres and there is involvement of GP's

Procedures for patients who want to enter the programme on a PERMANENT BASIS are no different.
