The centre also claborates with the centre for social work.
The centre employs 1 doctor and 1 nurse. The centre treats 25 patients with a maximum capacity of 30 patients.
Treatment philosophy of this centre is based upon harm reduction offering detoxification and maintenance programmes. The average dose of methadone prescribed is 40 mg. The waiting list is approximately 2 weeks. There is no maximum duration of treatment.

Non-attendance or violence can get patient expelled from treatment.

The centre should be informed beforehand by fax, phone or letter.

- dose and period for which methadone is requested

When visiting the patient does not have to bring a letter from his doctor.
If the patient has no domestic health insurance: one visit is 845 SIT and the price of the methadone is added to this. (1.245,00 SIT for 100 mg)

Only patients who are residents of the region where the centre is located are allowed to come to the centre on a PERMANENT BASIS.
