A staff of eleven members ( 2 doctors, 6 nurses, a psychiatrist, an administrator and a manager) treats 255 methadone patients. The whole organisation has 12 units and a total of 270 staff.
The treatment philosophy is based upon harm reduction offering detoxification and maintenance programmes. The average dose of methadone prescribed is 50 mg (max. 120 mg). There is no waiting list or maximum duration of treatment.

- special care for pregnant women and chronicle patients
 
the centre demands daily attendance on working days
 
Non-attendance for more than 5 days and violence can get patient expelled from treatment.
 
For taking in patient on a permanent basis the centre needs a full treatment history and medical information.
 
Procedures for taking patient for a short period of time:
The centre needs to be informed beforehand by phone or fax.

- identity
- dose
- brief information on medical history
