- A staff of eleven members ( 2 doctors, 6 nurses, a
psychiatrist, an administrator and a manager) treats 255 methadone patients. The whole
organisation has 12 units and a total of 270 staff.
- The treatment philosophy is based upon harm
reduction offering detoxification and maintenance programmes. The average dose of
methadone prescribed is 50 mg (max. 120 mg). There is no waiting list or maximum duration
of treatment.
