Procedures for patients who want to come on a permanent basis are no different.

APLEAT (Association pour l'Ecoute&l'accueil Toxicomanes)

Treatment philosophy is based upon harm reduction offering detoxification programmes. The average dose of methadone prescribed is 60 mg.
Currently the centre treats 29 patients, no maximum capacity of patients. There is no waiting list and no maximum duration of treatment.

- daily attendance (at the beginning)
- urine checks
 
Violence can get patient expelled from treatment.

- dose and period for which methadone is requested
 
When visiting the patient has to bring a prescription from his doctor.
There are no costs involved.
 
Procedures for patients who want to enter the programme on a permanent basis are no different.
