If patient want to enter the programme on a permanent basis the procedures are different. Medical consultation is necessary.

This substitution unit belongs to a network of an in-patient unit and a drug advisory centre. It employs 9 professionals of which 1 GP, 2 psychiatrists, 2 nurses, 1 educator, 1 social worker, 1 administrator and a manager.
Treatment philosophy is based upon harm reduction offering maintenance programmes. The average dose of methadone prescribed is 70 mg.
Currently the centre treats 50 patients, no maximum capacity of patients. There is no waiting list and no maximum duration of treatment.
