Training
Training practitioners
Euro-Methwork organized training for practitioners working in the substitution treatment field. The training was a combination of knowledge transfer, exchange of experience and skill building. Normally, 2 trainers were involved: one trainer with a social science background and one with a medical background. A standard training took three days and was based on the six modules of the Euro-Methwork Training Manual.
Training the trainers
Euro-Methwork also developed a special training to train the trainers. In a two and a half day workshop, potential trainers were practising with various methods to become an effective trainer. Both methods as well as content were being discussed. At the end of the training, the participants did a simulation training and -if successful- they received a document that they had become a certified Euro-Methwork trainer.
