Welcome to the website of the Third International Conference on Alcohol and Harm Reduction.

The conference was held in Cape Town, South Africa, from October 22 to 25, 2006.

Hundred and eighty five experts from 30 different countries, representing policy makers, government officials, NGO's, researchers and the alcohol beverage industry gathered for 3 days to discuss how alcohol related harm can be reduced in a realistic and concrete manner.
